Helena Dib is a brazilian costume designer from the state of São Paulo, but carries with her a little bit of each brazilian state. Some friends call her a "free spirit", but the nickname she really likes was given to her on her first job: "multimina" (multigirl). It summarizes her professional skills that transit in a wide range of different areas of the market. She works mainly as: set dresser, art director and costume designer, but also writes, creatively directs and does production design and prop production for different audiovisual pieces.

During college she began as an assistent in fashion and, after, in communication. She participated in the entire production chain of fashion ateliers, as well as POS and marketing. She had experience with fashion catwalks (Casa de Criadores and SPFW) and entered the audiovisual sector in a one-year internship at costume designer's departament on TV Cultura. During this period, she had the opportunity to take over the drama program Terra Dois, awarded by APCA de Televisão as the best program of 2017, alongside costume designer Edson Braga.

At the end of 2016, she started her career in cinema and content production. Between series, feature films and television programs, she was part of the costume design team for "Entre o Céu e a Terra" on TV Brasil, "Drunk History - A História Bêbada" on Comedy Central, "Toda Forma de Amor" on Canal Brasil and "Arte na Fotografia" for Canal ARTE 1. At the same time, she was styling assistant for Juliana Rossoni and the photographer Jacques Dequecker.

In October of the same year, she started working as a costume designer at the Midas Music label, assisting all the artists in the catalog with image building, costumes and artistic identity in their video clips, CD/EP covers, publicity photos, appearances at events, television, awards and concerts.

 

In 2019, she was asked to design the costumes for Max Fama's digital broadcast programs in partnership with Casa Laço, Trupe Max. There were more than 70 children's costumes for the programs: Bubbling, Abobrinha and Music Clips.

She co-founded COLETIVO PROJECT alongside Art Director and Artistic Producer, Lueli Marks. In the company's service chart, they idealized projects for television and digital content. They serve several communication channels, delivering structuring of an internal audiovisual team, coordination and creative direction, team management, art direction, costumes and script. Among the clients are: Midas Music, in which they implemented the fixed team and recording schedule, executive production, production coordination, creative and artistic direction and scripts; UOL, with art direction, set design, set dressing and costumes for the channel's programs and content. In addition to fixed customers, they also worked with advertisements (Boticário, Itaú, Panco, XP Investimentos, Brhama, Netshoes, 3 Corações, etc.), video clips, television programs (BAND), digital content (MidasMusic, UOL) and feature films. In 2020, Helena signed, through the company, the feature film "Fora de Cena" starring Marcelo Menezes and Douglas Silvas (DG).

Today she has more than 200 clips as a costume designer/stylist, more than 100 as an art director and many other jobs in advertising, content and dramaturgy. Coletivo has worked with some companies as: SquarePixel, Concreek, CAVE, Clã Filmes, Synk Design, Gublic FIlmes, Relva Filmes, Inmagic Group.

They have already delivered content to artists such as: Simone e Simaria, Skank, Iza, Clau, Luiza Sonza, PK, Elana Dara, Lagum, Vitor Kley, among others.

The main objective of her career is to direct her efforts towards dramaturgy productions (such as feature films and series), carry out studies in Los Angeles (AFI and UCLA) and London (UAL), publish a doctoral thesis at PUC-SP that complements her masters and carry out her authorial projects (scripts and books). She is always ready to learn new methodologies and work techniques in addition to expanding horizons.
